PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily correct not only the deviation in angles in the radial direction of an objective lens which is generated in the assembling of an optical pickup or the like but also the misalignment of the lens. SOLUTION: A damper base 4a is tentatively fixed to a supporting block 5-1 with a screw 9. Next, the misalignment of an objective lens 2 with respect to the optical axis of the radial direction Ra is corrected by sliding the base 4A in the longitudinal direction S of a long hole 4Aa. Continuously, the deviation in angles with respect to the optical axis of the lens 2 is corrected by rotating the base 4A in the radial direction Ra. Finally, the real fixing of the base 4A is performed by tightening the base with the screw 9. Thus, only the angle in the radial direction Ra of the objective lens 2 can be adjusted in the conventional damper base, but even the positional adjustment in the radial direction Ra of the objective lens can be made possible in this damper base 4A.
