PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the formation of electrolytic corrosion generated in the sealer and signal lines adjacent to a sealing agent. SOLUTION: In this device having a first substrate, a second substrate which is arranged so as to face with the first substrate through a liquid crystal, a sealer 5 which is provided between the first substrate and a second substrate so as to surround the display area and in which a liquid crystal enclosing port 5A is provided and signal lines 2 which are provided on the surface of liquid crystal side of the first substrate, the gap between the signal line 2 and the signal line 2 adjacent to the signal line 2 at the part of the liquid crystal enclosing port 5A is set, so as to be wider than that at the other parts.
