PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation button inspecting device capable of simply inspecting an emergency stop button. SOLUTION: When an operator pushes a push button for inspecting, current flows in a coil 52 of an emergency stop button 10, and if the button 10 works normal, a connecting member 47 moves to cause contacts 11a and 11b to open. This inspecting operation is performed for a plurality of such emergency stop buttons 10 one by one, and if all buttons operate normally, an indicator lamp is lighted. The operating part 30 remains out of movement even though current flows in the coil 52 of any emergency stop button 10 and is not locked by a locking mechanism 60, so that no unlocking operation is required at inspection.
