PICTURE READER, SHADING CORRECTING METHOD AND STORAGE MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a picture reading level at a both picture reading operation mode to coincide by correcting the difference of the picture reading level generated between executing times of first and second shading according to the first and second shading to be used. SOLUTION: A control part gives an instruction to select 'area A' of a shading correction executing part 37A at the time of executing shading after JOB to a shading correcting part 35 and gives an instruction to select 'area B' of the part 37A at the time of executing shading before JOB to the part 35. The part 35 switches an area used by the part 37A according to the instruction. The difference of the picture reading level generated between the first shading executing time and the second shading executing time is corrected according to the first shading and the second shading to be used.
