<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter with a good surface characteristic (less roughened surface) by forming the color filter of a composite of a conductive polymer and an insulative polymer. SOLUTION: A color filter layer is constructed of a composite of a conductive polymer and an insulative polymer. As the insulative polymer, thermoplastic resin is used desirably, and for example, polyethylene, polypropylene and the like are available. The composite of the insulative polymer and the conductive polymer is formed when an insulative polymer layer is formed on a base board surface and electrolytic polymerization is carried out by using the base board as an electrode. The conductive polymer is formed on the base board, on which insulative substance is formed, by an electrolytic reaction. As a monomer used for a polymerizing solution, pyrrole, thiophene or the like is used, for example, while as the conductive polymer, polypyrrole, polythiophene or the like can be provided.</p> |
