摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distance measuring apparatus with which a distance can be measured precisely, even if ripples are generated in a power-supply voltage by a method, wherein the integrating cycle of an integrating means is not set at a set cycle. SOLUTION: This distance measuring apparatus is provided with an IRED 10 which projects light toward an object to be distance-measured. In addition, it is provided with a PSD 12 which receives reflected light by a light projected towards the object, distance measure, from the IRED 10 and which outputs a signal according to its light-receiving position. In addition, it is provided with a computing circuit 15, which performs a computing operation on the basis of the signal from the PSD 12 and which outputs a signal corresponding to the distance up to the object to be distance measured. In addition, it is provided with an integrating circuit 16, which integrates the signal from the computing circuit 15 in such a way that an integrating capacitor 2 is discharged plural times at a prescribed cycle according to the signal from the computing circuit 15 and which outputs a signal corresponding to an integrated result. In addition, it is provided with a CPU 19 which detects the distance up to the object to be distance measured, on the basis of the signal from the integrating circuit 16. In addition, it is provided with a battery 31 which supplies a power-supply voltage. In addition, it is provided with a step-up regulator 32, which steps up the power-supply voltage of the battery 31 through oscillating operaton and which outputs the stepped-up voltage to the PSD 12, the computing circuit 15 and the like. The integrated cycle of the integrating circuit 16 is set so that it does not become a fixed cycle.
