PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator of an AC generator for a vehicle which can prevent deformation of the end portion of a stator winding. SOLUTION: This stator of an AC generator for a vehicle is equipped with a stator core, a plurality of conductor segments constituting a stator winding, and insulators electrically insulating the conductor segments from the stator core. In the stator winding mounted by the conductor segments, three-phase windings of X, Y, Z are connected in Y-type. Each of the lead-out wires X1, Y1, Z1 for outputs of the respective phase is drawn out from an outer middle layer. Each of the lead-out wires for output is clamped by the electric conductor of an outer end layer arranged on the outer peripheral side an the electric conductors of an inner middle layer and an inner end layer which are arranged inside.
