PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card type GPS receiver which facilitates positioning while being carried by a hand. SOLUTION: A card type interface part 6 to be inserted and connected to an interface slot of a portable terminal equipment is integrally set projecting to a GPS antenna 1 for receiving GPS signals transmitted from GPS satellites and a main body casing 3 which has inside an operation process part for operating position information based on the received GPS signals and which stores the GPS antenna 1. Position information is outputted from the card type interface part 6 to the portable terminal equipment. A card type GPS receiver A can be integrated with the portable terminal equipment by inserting the card type interface part 6 to the interface slot of the portable terminal equipment.
