PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water wetting sensor which can be mounted easily on a printed-wiring board carried on a vehicle and by which the water wetting of an electronic control circuit can be detected surely. SOLUTION: A pair of detection parts 19a, 20a which are faced and arranged by keeping a prescribed interval are provided on an insulating board 30. In addition, a terminal 35 and a terminal 36 which are set electrically into continuity with the respective detection parts 19a, 20a via a connecting conductor 33 and a connecting conductor 34 arranged and installed on the insulating board 30 and which are connected to wiring conductors on an electronic control circuit board are provided. A slit 37, in a very small width which prevents as false detection due to dew condensation is formed between the pair of detection parts 19a, 20a on the insulating board 30 in such a way that it is passed through both the surface and the rear surface of the insulating board 30.
