PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the manufacturing costs and structural costs for a lighting system equipped with light emitting diodes. SOLUTION: A lighting system comprises a transparent supporting plate 2 fitted with a conductive layer 5 on one side face 1 and light emitting diodes 6 equipped with connection terminals 7 and 8 on both sides of the light emission surface 11 and capable of surface mounting, and the light emitting diodes 6 are mounted on the supporting plate 2 in such a way as contacted with the surface on the emission surface 11 side of the supporting plate 2 and the conductive layer 5 through the terminals 7 and 8 and confronting the emission surface 11 of the supporting plate 2. |
