PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a highly precise measurement and to minimize the dispersion between sensors. SOLUTION: A DC voltage of 0.15 V is applied to the working electrode and reference electrodes of a biosensor, the applied voltage is changed to 0.6 V after a fixed time (t [seconds]) from the detection of supply of a blood sample, and the current carried between the working electrode and reference electrode is detected after 5 seconds from the change to measure the glucose quantity in the blood sample. Otherwise, the measurement may be performed by applying DC voltage of 0.1 V and 0.15 V before the supply of the blood sample and after the detection of the supply, respectively, changing the voltage to 0.6 V after a fixed time from the detection of the supply, and performing the measurement after 5 seconds after the change. |
