PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesion treating fiber for obtaining proper adhering force without using halogen containing polymer, a transmission belt cord having improved fraying of the fiber and advanced adhesiveness with rubber, and a transmission belt using the cord. SOLUTION: In a V-ribbed belt 1 composed of an adhesive rubber layer 3 embedded with core wires 2 along a belt longitudinal direction, and an elastic body layer including a compressed rubber layer 4; the core wires 2 are adhesively treated by means of an isocyanate compound by a twisting cold stranded by an aramid fiber filament group as a first treatment, and are treated by RFL liquid including nitrile rubber latex hydride and acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber latex, and having a solid part wt. ratio of nitrile rubber latex hydride and acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber latex of 90:10-50:50 as second treatment.
