The marker post (1) is formed by a flexible, elongated body (2) which curves in its cross-direction, the length of the body being chosen so that it protrudes above the crash barrier rail (3) by a given distance, in order for the reflectors (4) to be at the desired height. The lower part (5) of the flexible body forms a fastener section (8) with a width and curvature enabling it to be push-fitted into the open top part (9) of the support post (6) in which the marker post is mounted. The middle region of the curved part (10) of the flexible body is in contact with the crash barrier rail web, whilst the ends of this curved part are in contact with the folded ends of the support post arms (15).
