PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the manufacturing cost of a multiple dwelling house interphone system and to enhance the convenience at the time of installation or repair or the like by providing a different terminal number to a plurality of terminals being room terminals installed in the same house, allowing a control set to collate them and to process them as the same house. SOLUTION: This interphone system controls setting devices 25, 36 to set terminal numbers of interphone and care terminals 10, 11 configuring room sets 1a, 1b,... installed in a plurality of houses in a multiple dwelling house differently and provides a function of processing terminals in the same house as the same house terminals regardless of different terminal numbers to a control set 4 so as to employ only one control set 4 to which a manager room master set 2 and a multiple entrance set 3 connect and connects the control set 4 and a plurality of the room sets 1a, 1b,... via a single trunk line L1.
