PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a geometric image distortion by a horizontal deflection output circuit of a three-tube type projector. SOLUTION: A horizontal deflection output circuit includes horizontal deflection coils 12r, 12g, 12b respectively arranged on deflection yokes 11r, 11g, 11b of cathode-ray tubes 10r, 10g, 10b in a projector in which the cathode-ray tube 10g is arranged between the first cathode-ray tube 10r and the cathode-ray tube 10b, a horizontal width distortion correcting coil 5 of which a first terminal 5A and a second terminal 5B are respectively connected to the horizontal deflection coil 12r and a node A, a second horizontal width distortion correcting coil 6 of which a first terminal 6A and a second terminal 6B are respectively connected to the node A and the horizontal deflection coil 12b, and a switching circuit for making horizontal deflection current to blow to the horizontal deflection coil according to an output horizontal deflection control signal. The horizontal width distortion correcting coils 5 and 6 have a characteristic that inductance increases on the basis of an electric current value when coil electric current flows in from the first terminal, and that inductance decreases on the basis of an electric current value when coil electric current flows out from the first terminal.
