PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens driving device capable of securing a constant operation by preventing the thermal deformation (the generation of aberration) of an objective lens due to the heat of a driving coil. SOLUTION: The thermal deformation of the objective lens due to the heat to be generated in a coil assembly 7 is prevented by absorbing the heat to be generated in the coil assembly 7 and transmitting it to a cap 4 and a base 5 and dissipating the heat while allowing a head dissipating material 12 to be closely adhered to vertical surfaces 4c bent from the top surface 4a of the metallic cap 4 and a coil assembly 7 and a metallic base 5 and, thus, the objective lens driving device capable of securing the constant operation is obtained.
