PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display control device and method for performing display while changing an image according to intimacy. SOLUTION: In a step S24, standby is made until a specific amount of time such as one hour passes and '1' is added to the value of an intimacy level L being stored in an intimacy level register for updating. Also, it is judged whether a detection temperature A from the body of a user is less than 33 deg.C or not (step S27). Then, when the detection temperature A is less than 33 deg.C, '1' is subtracted from the value of the intimacy level L for updating (step S28). When the temperature A is equal to or more than 33 deg.C, '1' is added to the value of the intimacy level L for updating (step S28). Then, when the value of the intimacy level L becomes equal to or more than a specific value B, move is made from the step S30 to the step S31 to display an intimacy image. By the processing in the step S31, an image for friends where characters indicate affection is displayed at a display part.
