摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for calculating the vibration mode of a structure by a 1/2 analytic model by using a finite element method when the vibration mode has axially symmetrical or axially antisymmetrical displacement. SOLUTION: Even when the vibration mode of the structure has axially symmetrical or antisymmetrical displacement, the vibration mode can be calculated with the analytic model which is a half as large as the structure by using the finite element method by changing the method, which makes the analytic model a half as large as the structure, impart node numbers up to the axis of symmetry in the increasing order, imparts node numbers from the axis of symmetry in the decreasing order, and imparts the sign of a generating method for an element matrix, according to whether the displacement is axially symmetrical or antisymmetrical.
