PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize stable display operations and also to improve the utilization efficiency of a power source current. SOLUTION: Relating to the display tube of a dynamic driving that thermoelectrons radiated from filament cathodes are irradiated on desired phosphor pixels among plurally provided phosphor pixels by successively impressing a voltage on respective plural grid electrodes, the filament cathodes are heated by impressing a pulse voltage on the filament cathode which is confronted with the grid electrodes on which the voltage is not impressed when the voltage is impressed on either of the grid electrodes.
