PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten winding operation time and the time taken from winding operation until photographing operation and to improve dustproof property and sandproof property by projecting the whole of a winding knob, except for the engaging shaft thereof from the upper surface or the lower surface of a unit main body. SOLUTION: A winding knob 16 is molded to be columnar, and the upper surface of the knob 16 is made a rugged surface so that a fingertip will not slide when photographer performs turning operation. Then, the side surface of the knob 16 is knurled so that the photographer can perform the turning operation by taking the knob with fingers, and gaps which dust or sand penetrates is reduced. Even if dust or sand penetrates, they are easily removed, because the knob 16 is detached from the unit main body. By knurling the circumference of the knob 16 and making the upper surface thereof the rugged surface, the turning operation of the knob 16 can be performed smoothly by using the flat part of the finger, so that a photographic film is wound for a long length by performing the turning operation once, and the windup time is made shorter than that in the conventional manner.
