PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate program information to be used for reproducing and displaying program related information synchronously with a TV program reproduced by a VCR or the like. SOLUTION: In the program information generating method, a part which a given partial voice pattern included in a program being reproduced is pertinent to among voice patterns of whole programs previously prepared with respect to a single or plural programs including the above program is obtained by a pattern matching method, and program information related with the program to which the applied partial voice pattern is pertinent is generated in this method for generating the program information. |
