PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation device for low frequency vibration, capable of preventing low frequency vibration of 1 to 100 Hz/sec, which is generated when a highway exists or a railway on which trains travel, are arranged in the neighborhood of dwelling houses, from generating phenomena of insomnia or seasickness in dwellers in bed, instead of base-isolating shaking generated when a natural disaster such as an earthquake occurs. SOLUTION: About square metal plates 1A are arranged to be laminated in plural steps, and a gel material which can freely have various shapes in cold temperature and which is provided with a shape restoring property, is interposed between the metal plates 1A. Further, the metal plate 1A is formed of aluminum plate. Furthermore, the gel material is provided with a self-adhesive property. Besides, low frequency vibration ranges from 1 to 100 Hz/sec. |
