PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood whose operation can be easily controlled. SOLUTION: A range hood body 4 being connected via a suspension shelf 7 and a box 8 being provided on an indoor wall surface 1 is provided at the upper portion of a heating cooking utensil, a blower 2 and a control part 5 for controlling the operation of the blower 2 are provided in the range hood body 4, and a sensor device 6 for sending a detection signal to the control part 5 by detecting a user is provided on a side surface at the side of the range hood body 4 of the box 8 at a lower position than the lower end of the range hood body 4, thus enabling the user to easily control the operation of the range hood at a lower position than the range hood body. |
