PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize a television signal reception tuner by which attenuation of adjacent bands deviated from an intermediate frequency band of a television signal is substantially increased so as to enhance video quality of a television receiver. SOLUTION: The tuner is provided with an integrated circuit 6 including a mixer circuit 1 and an intermediate frequency circuit 5 that convert a frequency of at least a received television signal RF into an intermediate frequency signal IF, a 1st intermediate frequency amplifier circuit 3 that is designed to be a separate circuit from the integrated circuit 6 and has an amplification factor, and a SAW filter 4 that is designed to be a separate circuit from the integrated circuit 6 and attenuates adjacent bands deviated from an intermediate frequency band BW of the television signal at a prescribed attenuation factor. Then the integrated circuit 6 has at least a 1st terminal 8 and a 2nd terminal 9, outputs the intermediate frequency signal IF frequency-converted by the mixer circuit 1 from the 1st terminal 8 and inputs to the intermediate frequency circuit 5 from the 2nd terminal 9 through the intermediate frequency amplifier circuit 3 and the SAW filter 4 in series.
