<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a transmission system in a spread spectrum system using frequency hopping by which a high speed frequency hopping pattern can be caught in a short time in spite of a simple circuit configuration. SOLUTION: A signal with information superimposed thereon outputted from a signal processing section 1 is modulated with a local oscillation signal of a local oscillator 3 by a modulator 2. A mixer 14 receives a signal from an orthogonal modulator 14 and converts an output of the modulator 2 into a high frequency signal and conducts spread spectrum modulation. BPFs 5, 7 and an amplifier 6 eliminate an undesired component and the result is amplified and an antenna 8 emits a radio wave. The orthogonal modulator 14 can be configured with a small sized integrated circuit and no switching operation is required, then no theoretical limitation is placed on a frequency hopping speed.</p> |
