摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maximize efficiency in isochronal transmission by selectively using a residual band width in actual transmission in isochronal data transmission, which is not used in actual transmission thrugh it is assigned for isochronal data transmission. SOLUTION: When isochronism re-setting data is detected, isochronal data is transmitted. Unless it is detected, it is confirmed whether transmission is executed in an isochronism re-setting gap or not and, then, isochronal data is transmitted. In this case, the residual band width which is not used in actual transmission in spite of being assigned for isochronal data transmission is selectively used in isochronal data transmission. In this device, a residual gap detecting means is provided with a clock signal generating part 702 and a gap detecting part 710 or the like which identifies the kinds of the gaps based on the time interval of the gaps. The gap detecting part 710 is provided with a residual gap detecting part 714 to display the start of the residual band width and to detect the residual gap having the time interval which is longer than the prescribed one.</p>
