PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for supporting preferential traveling of emergency vehicle which enables emergency vehicles safely and smoothly travel by hastening the siding actions of surrounding vehicles by causing indicators or alarms installed to the traveling route of the emergency vehicle to indicate or notify in advance the approach of the emergency vehicles by using a navigation system. SOLUTION: Approaching emergency vehicle notifying devices 2 are installed to a road 3 and a disaster information receiving function, an emergency vehicle allocating function, a route searching function for searching routes to disaster sites, a message exchanging function for exchanging messages with emergency vehicles, and a notifying signal transmitting function for transmitting notifying signals to the notifying devices 2 are given to a commander's room 10. In addition, a present location detecting function for detecting the present location of an emergency vehicle 20, a dynamic information inputting function for inputting the dynamic state of the vehicle 20, and a message exchanging function for exchanging messages with the commander's room 10 are given to the vehicle 20. When a disaster happens, the commander's room 10 grasps the position and dynamic information of each emergency vehicle 20 after the vehicles 20 are dispatched and transmits notifying signals for notifying the approach of the vehicles 20 to approach indicators 1 installed in the forward direction of the vehicles 20 on the predetermined traveling routes of the vehicles. Consequently, the vehicles 20 can smoothly reach a disaster site, because ordinary vehicles take siding actions in advance.
