PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration setting device for a disaster prevention system which can display the set states of a plurality of fire starting stairs and interlocked stairs in an easily distinguishable state and can execute the addition and deletion of configuration setting of the stairs without giving a burden to a setter, because the system can set the addition and deletion by properly using the left click and right click of a mouse. SOLUTION: The input-output section 32 of a personal computer B is connected to the input-output section 5-2 of the main control unit of the main body A of a disaster prevention system through a communication means. Stair- wise interlock setting is executed at the computer B by displaying a menu picture and fire starting stairs and interlocked stairs are set on the screen of the displaying section 31 of the computer B. Then the set fire starting stairs and interlocked stairs are registered and transmitted to the main control unit side.
