PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of a commodity taking-out device and, at the same time, to shorten the time required for sending commodities to a commodity taking-out port by simultaneously transporting the commodities in both horizontal vertical directions by means of one driving motor. SOLUTION: A commodity taking-out device transports a commodity 10 delivered forward from a commodity housing rack provided in a compartment through a commodity expelling port 5 opened through an inner door 3 to a commodity taking-out port 4 opened through the middle-stage position of an outer door by lifting up the commodity 10. A horizontal belt conveyor mechanism 13 and a shooter box 14 are incorporated side by side in a bucket 11 which is elevated and lowered by means of an elevating/ lowering mechanism 12 and, at the same time, the pinion 15b of a rack/pinion mechanism 15 is connected to the driving shaft of a horizontal conveyor so that the commodity 10 expelled from the commodity housing rack may be delivered to the shooter box 14 by revolving the horizontal conveyor while the bucket 11 is elevated after the commodity 10 is received with the conveyor and, when the bucket 11 reaches the highest position, may be sent to the commodity taking out port 4 from the shooter box 14.
