PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mouse pad capable of maintaining the operability of a mouse used for a personal computer, etc. SOLUTION: The surface of this mouse pad is made to be a surface made of material absorbing fats and oils, i.e., paper, a woven fabric or a non-woven fabric, etc. Thus, fats and oils are not attached to a mouse ball because the fats and oils are absorbed all the time when being used, so that a comfortable operation can be performed all the time. Also, even in a mouse whose operability is worsened due to the attachment of fats and oils, the operability is recovered by using this mouse pad.
