PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to maintain heat radiation performance even if a landscape-configured device is installed in portrait orientation. SOLUTION: The aluminum chassis 2 for cooling a display panel is arranged so as to maintain an heat radiation effect both in landscape and portrait orientations by arranging poles or feathers crosswise on the rear side so that ascending current is not hindered, and being structured so as to cope with the air flow in the set both in the vertical and horizontal directions by mounting a cooling fan at the center part of the flat display device.
