<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration meter which prevents spring characteristics from degrading due to gravity and is superior in durability. SOLUTION: A vibration meter 1 to measure vertical oscillations by a vertically oscillating oscillator 34 is provided with a housing part 3 housing the oscillator 1 with space in which the oscillator 1 can be vertically moved at a predetermined amplitude, a supporting member (e.g. a supporting spring member 35) fixed to the housing part 3 at its one end to support the oscillator 1 so that it can be vertically moved, and oscillation measuring means 31 and 33 mounted to the oscillator 1 to measure the magnitude of oscillations. A fluid liquid substance (e.g. silicon oil S) is poured into the housing part 3 by an amount at least enough to immerse the oscillator 1 during oscillations.</p> |
