PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable battery charging circuit which uses less number of parts items, has a simple structure, and accordingly, can be manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: A battery charging circuit which charges a battery B101 is constituted in such a way that, when the battery B101 is charged in a saturated state and the temperature of the battery B101 rises to a set value, the circuit maintains the charging state, by reducing the charging current to a small current based on the operations of switches S1-S4. However when the switches are restored, the circuit maintains the charging state within the fluctuating range of a set power supply voltage. When the battery B101 is removed or the power supply is interrupted, in addition, the circuit displays generation of a reset function. |
