PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector inspecting apparatus which can enhance workability in inspecting connectors. SOLUTION: A connector receive part 7 has a receiving recess 17. The receiving recess 17 is formed in matching with the outlines of a coat member 3 and a housing 21 of a connector 2. When the coat member 3 does not neatly coat the housing, the connector 2 cannot be set to the connector receive part 7. At the time of a connection inspection, if a terminal metal fitting and a probe pin 14 come into touch with each other, not only is the terminal metal fitting of the connector 2 in a good fit state and the like, but also the coat member 3 is set properly to the housing.
