PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retransmit character information received in a radio terminal, to receive it with a private receiver and to recognize character information on the private receiver. SOLUTION: A character information retransmission device puts character information sent through a nearby base station 4 in a transmission packet to the base station 4 and retransmits it. A retransmission character information receiver displays retransmitted character information on a display means. Even if the character information retransmission device 10 is put in a bag, character information can be recognized by the retransmission character information receiver and it is not necessary to take out the character information retransmission device 10 from the bag each time.
