Construction system for building dwellings, which combines prefabricated, reinforced and prestressed concrete components with traditional modified concrete components, and retains the characteristics of popular traditional buildings. It is based on construction with isolated or continuous foundations. The first consists of small prefabricated concrete cells with a housing where the reinforced concrete pillars are placed. The second consists of a concrete base constructed in situ and blocks-lintels of concrete for footings where the pillar housings are provided. Blocks-panels, which are lightweight prefabricated concrete components, are placed between the pillars, and their ends engage in channels in the pillars. The upper perimeter of the dwelling is closed off (roofed) with prefabricated reinforced concrete components, cast in situ. <IMAGE>
