<p>1304574 Protective arrangements GENERAL ELECTRIC CO 26 May 1970 [2 June 1969] 26168/70 Heading H2K [Also in Division B6] An undervoltage protection circuit 50 for a high speed printer (see Division B6) receives a monitored input voltage H which passes an RC delay circuit 90 to render the protection circuit insensitive to minor drops in voltage and is applied to a comparator circuit 96 including a Zener diode 98 establishing a reference voltage above which a transistor 100 is turned on to apply a logic "1" output to an inverter 106 through a delay 104, but below which the output from comparator 96 is logic "0" whereby logic "1" output is applied to clear a data store 44. The output a from the delay 104 is applied to a control circuit 54 permitting or preventing operation of print hammers.</p> |
