METHOD FOR CONTROLLING PATH DIAGNOSIS BETWEEN TIME SWITCH AND SUB DEVICE IN MOBILE SWITCHING CENTER

PURPOSE: A method for controlling the path diagnosis between a time switch and a sub device in the mobile switching center is provided to diagnose call processing diagnostic status in the time switch and to detect service fault initially in the sub device of a transmitting side by transmitting the result of diagnosis to the sub device of the transmitting side. CONSTITUTION: A receiving side subscriber interface(22) converts the analog signal received from a first subscriber(21) into a digital signal. A time slot control part(24) transmits the path diagnostic control data of an associated call to a diagnostic part(23). A upper level control part(27) transmits a switching control data to the time slot control part(24). A transmitting side subscriber interface(25) transmits PCM data to a second subscriber(26) line through analog conversion in normal condition and informs abnormal status to the upper level control part(27) in abnormal condition.
