PURPOSE: A method for processing a PSTN(Public Switched Telephony Network) call using a V5.2 interface in a full electronic swithchboard is provided to offer an independent and efficient service for PSTN subscribers connected with a V5.2 interface by installing the V5.2 interface in a full electronic switching system and interfacing with a subscriber interface unit. CONSTITUTION: A PSTN(Public Switched Telephony Network) call control part(10) executes overall call control for V5.2 interfaced PSTN subscribers. A PSTN call control message processing part(11) provides a suitable communication path between a V5.2 interface part(13) and the PSTN call control part(10). A PSTN subscriber information management part(12) stores and manages subscriber information for PSTN subscribers, interfaced with the V5.2 interface part(13), in a remote place. The V5.2 interface part(13) executes interfacing with a V5.2 interface part(20) in a remote subscriber part. A system resource management part(14) manages various resources of a full electronic swithchboard. A system resource part(15) stores status information for various resources provided from the full electronic swithchboard. The V5.2 interface part(20) executes interfacing with the V5.2 interface part(13). A remote subscriber interface part(21) interfaces the subscribers connected directly by physical lines.
