PURPOSE: A light scanning system of printer is provided to improve the printing quality by obtaining light emitting data for pixels without performing any additional operation for color registration after substitution of light scanner. CONSTITUTION: A light scanning system of printer includes photosensitive media(74) in circulation movement, at least one light scanner(30,40,50,60) for scanning light in the main light scanning direction crossing the advancing direction of the photosensitive medium at a predetermined angle, and light scanning controller(90) for controlling the driving of the light scanner, wherein the photosensitive medium has a slit(75) formed with a predetermined distance crossing the advancing direction of the photosensitive medium alternately with a floodlighting part(75a) and a shading part(75b) thereof, light receiving parts(81-84) are provided oppositely to the light scanner with relation to the photosensitive medium for receiving the light emitted from the light scanner and passed through the floodlighting part of the slit to output a corresponding electric signal to the light scanning controller, and the light scanning controller obtains a data of light emitting time for the light arrival at a predetermined pixel position from the electric signal input time to control the light emitting timing of the light scanner corresponding to image information according to the data.
