METHOD FOR CONTROLLING GAS SUPPLY AMOUNT OF GAS BOILER

PURPOSE: A controlling method of the gas supply amount is provided to prevent the stoppage of a boiler due to the deviation of a flame voltage from a reference flame voltage by controlling the amount of the gas supplied to be corresponding to the difference of the voltage sensed flame voltage and the flame voltage of the reference voltage. CONSTITUTION: Combustion is started by the ignition of gas supplied at the first stage before the operation of a boiler. The strength of flames in a burner is sensed and the sensed flame voltage is compared to a predetermined reference range of flame voltage. If the sensed flame voltage is within the range of the reference flame voltage, a static amount of gas is supplied to perform normal combustion. And if the sensed flame voltage is over the range of the reference flame voltage, the supply amount of gas is increased gradually to control the flame voltage to be in the range of the reference flame voltage. If the sensed flame voltage is under the range of the reference flame voltage, the gas supply amount is decreased gradually to the minimum to control the flame voltage to be in the range of the reference flame voltage.
