PURPOSE: A preparation method of sinter in which a large amount of iron-containing dust is mixed is provided which, by using a large amount of iron-containing infinitesimal dust as raw material of sinter and using the existing facilities, can recover iron included in iron-containing dust and also improve sinter productivity. CONSTITUTION: The preparation method of sinter comprises a mixing step of mixing a large amount of iron-containing infinitesimal dust with iron ore (raw material of sinter) and a composing step of adding moisture to the mixed raw material of sinter to compose them, characterized in that an amount of the iron-containing infinitesimal dust in the raw material of sinter in the mixing step is up to 30 - 35% and an amount of added moisture in the composing step is up to 8.3 - 8.4%.
