PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a compartment for a plasma display panel is provided to form a thick glass membrane in a low temperature. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a compartment for a plasma display panel includes a first to a third step. In the first step, a lower support(2) is formed on an alkali glass sheet(1), a silver electrode(3) is formed on the lower support, and a glass powder is applied on the silver electrode. In the second step, a glass plate is accumulated on the glass powder, and a white back(4) and a thick glass membrane(5) is formed by sintering the glass powder and the glass plate. In the third step, a part of the thick glass membrane is selectively exposed, and the thick glass membrane is etched with a diluted acid until the white back is exposed. |
