PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling a tension applied to an aluminum foil of an electrolytic capacitor is provided to prevent a cut of an aluminum foil by reducing a tension of the aluminum foil. CONSTITUTION: A piezoelectric element(75) is installed a rotating axis of a roller and senses a pressure applied from aluminum foil to a roller in order to supply an aluminum foil to a forming device of an electrolytic capacitor. A controller(90) is connected to the piezoelectric element(75) and processes a signal from the piezoelectric element(75). An alarm sound generator(92) is connected to the controller(90) and generates an alarm according to the signal from the controller(90). A power intercepting section is connected to the controller(90) turns off a main power supply for driving a forming device of an electrolytic capacitor according to the signal from the controller(90).
