PREPARATION METHOD FOR MOLTEN PIG IRON HEAT INSULATOR IN FURNACE PROCESS WORK

PURPOSE: A preparation method for molten pig iron heat insulator in furnace process work which can be mass produce heat insulator, increase the heat insulation capability by causing exothermic reaction between heat insulator and molten material, and reduce environmental problem such as air pollution by incorporating its own moisture is provided, by mixing carbon-containing wet sludge and carburized cokes in a certain ratio. CONSTITUTION: A preparation method for molten pig iron heat insulator in furnace process work is characteristically using carbon-containing wet sludge spun out from water treatment process of wet-type dust remover in furnace process(100) and carburized cokes generated during smashing process in cokes production process(120). The method includes the following steps: transferring(130) carbon-containing wet sludge of which moisture is adjusted to 4% or less in an agitator(110) and carburized cokes generated from cokes process to molten pig iron heat insulator processing site(140); mixing(150) the carbon-containing wet sludge and carburized cokes in the ration of 30: 70 in volume; smashing(160) the mixtures to have 1-3mm of granular diameter in order to obtain heat insulating material; drying(170) the smashed heat insulating material to moisture content of 2-3%; and packaging(180) the powder type heat insulating material to use for furnace work.
