DRIVING CONTROL METHOD OF CAR A/V SYSTEM USING GPS

PURPOSE: A driving control method of car A/V system using GPS is provided to turn off VTR or TV by calculating a driving speed from the information of GPS(Global Positioning System) for a car position or time. CONSTITUTION: A driving control method of car A/V system using GPS indicates the position on the road map of a display screen by receiving the car position and time information from GPS, and selectively displays the information distinguished from the car-navigation information. The method comprises the steps of: judging the active screening mode output by a TV or VCR driving after approving the driving power; producing the moving speed of the car position of time from the above GPS; comparing the driving speed with the pre-settled speed limit; and outputting a warning message as non-audible after comparing and judging the driving speed, and stopping the TV or VCR power automatically.
