PURPOSE: An equipment for actively removing the noise of PDP TV is provided to actively remove the periodical noise generated by a rotary driver by outputting the noise removing sound having reversed phase and same amplitude as those of the noise. CONSTITUTION: An equipment for actively removing the noise of PDP TV comprises a microphone(20), an FFT(fast fourier transform) converter(21), a noise removing sound generator(23), a micro computer(25), an audio amp(24), and a speaker(25). The microphone(20) is mounted on one side of a cabinet to detect noise. The FTF converter(21) receives noise signals from the microphone(20) to convert them into frequency/sound pressure spectrums. The noise removing sound generator(23) receives a basic wave component to generate the signal having reversed phase and same amplitude as those of noise signal of noise source. The computer(25) controls noise removing sound to control the audio signal of the audio amp. The audio amp(24) amplifies the audio signal by the control of the computer.
