SCREEN SCROLL SYSTEM OF SATELLITE BROADCASTING RECEIVING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A system is to scroll a display screen of a satellite broadcasting receiving apparatus into the right side or left side depending on an intention of the viewer, thereby allowing to easily view a broadcast or a program being displayed as though the viewer lies on his side. CONSTITUTION: A system comprises: a tuner or a demodulator(100) for tuning a broadcasting channel selected in received broadcasting signals by a user and demodulating the tuned broadcasting channel signals into a transmission stream; an MPEG decoder(102) for restoring an audio and a video signal provided from the tuner and the demodulator into an original signal before being encoded depending on the prescribed control signals; an NTSC encoder(104) for transforming the digital broadcasting signal provided from the MPEG decoder into an NTSC analog video signal; a scroll key(106) for generating a right and left scroll key signal depending on a key control of the user; a screen scroll part(110) for right and left scrolling the screen currently displayed depending on a prescribed control signal; and a control part(108) for providing the tuning control signal into the tuner and the demodulator and providing right and left scroll controlling the screen scroll part depending on the right and left scroll key signal.
