PURPOSE: A graphic display method of mobile communication terminal is provided to satisfy user's desire to pursue something new by displaying picture symbol or message in accordance with circumstances according to transmitting numbers. CONSTITUTION: Power is supplied to a terminal(30). The terminal is initialized(320), and is on standby(330). If a phone number is inputted(340), the phone number is stored in buffer(350). If a transmitting command is inputted, the phone number to be transmitted is confirmed(370). If the number to be transmitted is not inputted, a message to be inputted again is displayed(385). If the transmitting number is inputted, the status of the number is checked(390). According to what the number is for, each associated picture is displayed on the LCD plate in accordance with each circumstance(410-480). If the picture according to a circumstance is displayed, standby state is continued until the call is connected(490). Then, the communication is made(500).
