PURPOSE: An artificial marble having multi-colored pattern made of glass is provided, which appears natural marble pattern and permanently keeps the color without discoloring and degenerating. And, a method for preparing the same is also provided. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of: (i) preparing a printing ink by mixing 20-25 wt.% of solvent naphtha, 10-20 wt.% of ethyl-3-ethoxy propionate and 5-10 wt.% of cyclohexanone, 65-45 wt.% of a mixture of a same amount of acrylic resin and vinyl resin with a required amount of color paint; and (ii) printing multi-colored pattern on one side of a transparent glass by a conventional silk screen printing method of printing various color printing layer on the glass and then drying the printing layer at room temperature repeatedly. Wherein the silk screen for printing for every color printing is removed immediately after printing by grasping previously printed silk screen and tearing off from the previously printed silk screen to subsequently printed silk screen in sequence. And the printing layer is coated with 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenone as a printed layer protecting, and ultra-violet rays absorbent.
